The Legislation and Regulations Section is responsible for the coordination and submission of Joint Committee Reports (JCR’s).  These are reports that the General Assembly requires as part of some bills passed so that they will be able to determine the success of the legislation.

At present ADAA provides a report annually for the 2000 legislation regarding the Substance Abuse Treatment Outcomes Partnership Program Fund. Another annual report is filed jointly with the Department of Human Resources concerning the progress in complying with provisions concerning integration of child welfare and substance abuse treatment services.  In addition ADAA provides statistics to the Minority Health and Health Disparities and Cigarette Restitution Fund (CRF) Administration for their JCR concerning funds utilized from the CRF. Statistics are also provided to the Governor’s Office of Children for their JCR concerning out of home placement of children.
