OETAS > Challenge Exam Process
CHALLENGE EXAMINATION PROCEDURES
Challenge examinations are available for OETAS courses that fulfill the specialized training requirements for State Merit System classifications Certified Professional Counselor – Alcohol and Drug, Supervisor and Certified Professional Counselor – Alcohol and Drug, Advanced.
Submit a challenge examination application form indicating the challenge examination title(s). Please see challenge examination application for pricing information. Payment may be made via check or money order. Then call OETAS to arrange for a date and time to take the examination(s) at the OETAS Catonsville office. You will be allotted 1.5 hours for each challenge examination. Please allow six weeks for grading.
